Fisher Scholarships (merit-based)

All Full-Time MBA applicants are considered for merit-based awards, ranging in value from $1,500 to the full cost of tuition. While some of these scholarships may require particular qualifications, such as prior academic performance or work experience, several scholarships are free of stipulations. These awards will be assigned based on a candidate’s potential to contribute to the classroom experience.

Just a few scholarship opportunities at Fisher

Fisher Graduate Assistantships

50% tuition coverage, 10-hours a week

Each year Fisher awards 10-20 new graduate assistantships to the incoming MBA class. Graduate Assistants are selected for placement based upon their skills and department needs, and how those align with program needs. The MBA Admissions Committee will use your application and interview to determine whether you will be awarded a GA position. They typically involve a 10-hour-per-week work schedule, which translates into a 50 percent tuition waiver as well as a monthly stipend during the academic year.

Fisher MBA Leadership Fellow

100% tuition coverage, 20-hour a week

A select number of highly qualified candidates will be identified as Fisher MBA Leadership Fellows. Fellows are among the most competitive awards given to incoming MBA students and are therefore chosen carefully on the basis of outstanding academic, professional, and personal achievement, as well as potential for success in the MBA program. As with Graduate Assistants, Fisher Fellows are selected for placement based upon their skills and department needs, and how those align with program needs. The MBA Admissions Committee will use your application and interview to determine whether you will awarded a Fisher MBA Leadership Fellow position. They typically involve a 20-hour-per-week work schedule, which translates into a 100% tuition waiver, as well as a monthly stipend during the academic year.

Merit-Based Cash Awards or Combination Awards

The Full-Time MBA program also offers limited, merit-based cash awards to select incoming students. Awards may range from $1,000 to full-tuition and/or a combination award that consists of a cash award + a 10-hour Graduate Assistantship. The MBA Admissions Committee will use your application and interview to determine whether you qualify for these awards. There is no additional application or information needed from the student for this consideration, but we encourage you to fully complete your application to create the best opportunity for consideration for this competitive financial support.

Loans

Some MBA students use loans to finance their education, either in total or in part, and many sources of loans exist. Federal loans are available for domestic students only.
